What is a PromptPay QR with an amount?
A QR with the amount already in it. The buyer scans it in their banking app and the amount fills itself in, so fewer transfers come in short or over. Without an amount you get a reusable QR and the buyer types the amount.
Which numbers can I use?
A mobile number linked to PromptPay, a 13-digit national ID or tax ID (including business PromptPay), or a 15-digit e-Wallet ID.
Is it safe? Does Nava see my number?
The QR is made entirely on your device; the number and amount you type are never sent to Nava. Money the buyer sends goes straight to your PromptPay account. Before first use, scan it with your own banking app to check the account name (don't confirm the transfer).
How is this different from the QR in my banking app?
Banking apps can make a receive QR too. This tool helps when you want a specific amount per order, on any computer or phone, saved as an image you can send in chat.
