Short answer: remind politely, at most twice, while you hold the item. If they stay quiet, put the item back on sale and say you're happy to send a new bill. Never shame the buyer. Ready-to-send replies for all three moments are below.

Why buyers don't pay

Mostly not on purpose: they forgot, got busy, are waiting for payday, or are still unsure about a size. A short, polite message with the amount and a QR they can pay straight away works better than pressure.

A follow-up rhythm that keeps the buyer

  1. Send the bill with an exact-amount QR and say how long you'll hold the item, so the buyer knows the deadline
  2. Reminder 1 after a few hours: short, with the amount and QR again
  3. Reminder 2 (if you're still holding it): say you'll release the item if it's not a good time
  4. Release the item: stop messaging, but say you'll gladly send a new bill

What not to do

  • Don't shame the buyer. Posting a buyer's name or chat makes the shop look untrustworthy and can raise personal-data problems.
  • Don't message too often. Repeated reminders can get your LINE OA blocked.
  • Don't hold stock forever. Buyers ready to pay will see it as sold out.

How Nava helps

Nava sends the bill with an exact-amount QR and holds the item for that buyer until the bill expires (4 hours by default; the shop can choose from 2 hours to 3 days). If no slip arrives, it sends a polite reminder 2 hours after the bill and a last call 1 hour before it expires, then stops (a 2-hour bill gets just the last call). When the bill expires, the item goes back on sale by itself. Nava is in a private pilot and opens to everyone in February 2027.
